Quabbin Reservoir

Friends of ours took us on a car ride to a huge trail/scenic place. It was really cold that day but really beautiful. I want to back in the Spring or Summer to see the actual water and green trees. We pretty much just walked around as much as we could until the kids froze.

The next 4 pics go together. Didn't want to do a pamaramic (sp?)
Here's the right side of the gulf

Now the left side of it

We were standing on a really high hill. I thought it looked cool tha the water looks higher tha the trees.

Then the pics put together

All the trails still had snow on them. I love the bare trees and the snow on the ground, it's so beautiful to me.

A really old foundation of a building that use to exist.

Of course my boy/ husband had to play in it

Manny holding Charlie, since Anthony was playing and I was taking pics.

Notice Anthony's "walking stick" he saw this huge stick and decided he needed a walking stick (that's taller than him. lol)

Alexa and Gabriel w/ actual walking stick.

Where's Anthony? He wanted Alexa to hide in the tree w/ him, but she was too scared.

Charlie trying out the walking stick.

The guys decided to go out on the ice and throw huge rocks to see if it would crack. It didn't but stil doesn't sound to smart to me.

I though this was really cool. These arre frozen waves. Right where the water and land meet.

Victoria hanging out in the trees

All this water was frozen. The path next to where we drove to get around. I got out of the car to take these pics. This pic is to the left of me

The right of me

further up from the first (left side) picture

I love nature, if you couldn't tell by now.
