Three Day Birthday

My baby girl turned 4 over a week ago. I can't believe how fast she has grown. She is growing into such a smart girl. She is constantly asking questions and wanting to learn things. It seems as though her mind never stops going, just like her body. She's still my hyper kid w/ a great personality.

We had a very weird birthday this year. We planned a birthday party for Alexa and 3 days before the day we were suppose to have it, we found out the place was closed down for awhile, so we had to change the location of where we were gonna have it. So that was stressful. Then between almost everyone cancelling on the day before and the day of her birthday I was overwhelmed for sure. But we still had a birthday and had fun. Plus it made her birthday seem to last 3 days. We had the party on Sat. On Sunday at church her friends that couldn't make it gave her gifts, so she was SO excited to come home and open those presents. Then on Monday her friends from a different church that we do play dates w/ decided to give her a lil' special party. We went to the park and they surprised her w/ gifts, food, and cake. The next couple of days after she would ask "Is it still my birthday?" So a stressful day became a blessing. She had fun and enjoyed a lot of cake, which I think was her favorite part. So thank you everyone who took time to show my lil' girl that she's special.

Side note it was also great this wk. we had my brother and mom in town for her birthday so they got to enjoy her day(s) w/ her too. I think that was the icing on her cake.

Sat. at the water park.

Aiden

Oh did I mention on Sat. it rained like crazy on and off. It's a good thing the picnic tables were covered. So we all hung out under there for awhile. The kids still ran around in the rain, I guess nothing can stop them.

Charlie and Aiden waiting for food

She wanted a princess party w/ a princess cake. Since it cost so much for a decorated cake we (my mom and I) decided to buy a paper castle and put it on top of the cake, which was way cheaper and looked cooler if you ask me. Plus she loved it.

Alexa was very generous when it came to opening her gifts. Her friend Kiera asked, " Can I open 1?" Alexa was more than willing to let her open 1 and they opened the rest of the gift together it was really cute.

My brother got Alexa a huge water gun that she could barely hold up when it had water in it. But she loved watching everyone get sprayed w/ it.

At home playing w/ all the new toys.

My lil' princess (w/ her fake special and princess bathing suit)

Sunday after church opening more gifts.

Monday: playing in the park

Where's Charlie? (behind the tree)

As soon as the moms started calling food and cake time Alex ran over and wouldn't let the cake out of her site.

Once again she let her friends help her open the gifts they gave her and show her what everything was.

On Monday after the park we decided to go to Six Flags since we have season passes and free passes. Just an add on to Alexa's special weekend.
The girls actually got out of their seats and went up w/ the other kids to watch the Wiggles show

Alexa loves the mist machines for some reason. She will stand in front of each of them until she's drenched.

My bro

the last ride always seems to be the wtaer ride that Charlie can't go on. So Charlie and I enjoyed the view of the pic above and watched everyone else on the ride.

When they got off the ride they were all wet

always have to end w/ the carasouls since they are right next to the entrance and exit.

So that was Alexa's 4th birthday. I'm still in shock that sh'e 4. I love you Alexa, Happy Birthday
