Vacation in California 2010

I'm going to try and keep everything short. I know the best part of this blog is the pictures. I will let you know the family and I had a great vacation, and although it went by fast & at times didn't feel like a vacationa as we tried to see everyone, we still loved and enjoyed everyday. We were fortunate to get see most of the epople we wanted. For those who we didn't see, sorry and we still love ya. And for those who we did see thanks for taking time to visit, we love you too. It was nice to be in California and I did take ALOT of pictures and I didn't even upload all the pictures I took but I did make an album of the days we went to the beach and a slide show of some of the fun the kids had and Kristina's (Anthony sister) wedding. Sorry that its on 2 different things (picasa and snapfish) but I wanted to see which was easier to use and ended up not wanting to put them both on the same thing.......Hope you enjoy the pics and my commentary (lol) through most of the pics. I must also add thank God we had a safe trip there and back and the girls did great on the plane. We didn't suffer from jet lag or anything, except Anthony who I think is still running on Ca. time (at least it's not the girls)

Here's me bored in the plane on the way to Ca.

The girls playing in the airport on our layover

He never stops reading

My awesome friend Krystle made kid pillows for my girls which Alexa was very greatful for. Even though she doesn't look comfortable in this pic, she slept w/ this pillow every night even in bed. It was very appreciated (thanks Krystle)

The girls were both crying to hold my hand while they fell asleep

Yes, she's sitting and that's my arm over her head trying to take the pic.

Guitar Hero was a joy for the kids even though I don't think they could really eevn play it. Whatever entertains them I guess.

Here are some random 'poses' I took of our adventures, w/ friends and family.

(Alexa, Kiera, Averi, Jaydon, & Charlie....aka all the Wirth grandkids kids)

Alexa was the flower girl in Kristina's wedding. Although you can't tell in the pic, she was SUPER excited and wanted to wear the dress everyday.

We dressed the girls in matching dresses, since the other 2 were going to be dressed up (as ring bearer and flower girl)

The Tn. Wirth kids

Vanessa and me at the wedding

All the Wirth kids playing bubbles and actually stopped to take a pic.
I love Averi's pose in this pic.....cracks me up.

Went to my cousin Russ' house for his daughter's graduation (from high school) but unfortunately didn't get any pics of her.
Here's his youngest daughter (Serenity) w/ my girls

Serenity and Charlie (she's 7mo older than Charlie)

Next day at my cousin Gina's house, who is probably my closest cousin. I love her and her family. They ahve been quite a blessing to me and my family.....love ya guys.

Our girls are 4 mo apart and usually get their pics taken for Christmas but since we moved we haven't done it, so of course we had to get them together. Most of the pics the girls look crazy or really funny but trust me getting a 4/5 yr to take pics over and over w/ no fake smile is seriously impossible.

Alexa, Hannah, Charlie, & Bryce

The Barnharts- Greg, Ashley, Gina, Bryce, Devon,& Hannah

All of our kids

My cousins cute kids

The whole gang

I have had the same best friend (Erica) for 18 yrs. although there are gaps when we grew distant we still always seem to catch up like we saw each other the day before.
This is her son Seth (8yrs old) and my girls. Alexa loved him, she laughed at everything he did, it was quite funny.

Dylan (her husband), Erica, & Seth

Erica and I

Another great friend, who has blessed my life so much. And who's oldest daughter Alexa use to play w/ all the time when we lived in Ca. and as soon as they saw eachother it seemed as not a day as gone by that they haven't seen eachother. (thanks to blogs/pics Alexa has still 'seen' her through the yrs.)
Here's their beautiful family (minus the baby, Sophie, who was sleeping)
The Jacksons- Cara, Todd, Adelyn, & McKenna

What a great friend I have found in you Cara, love and miss you.

Our kiddos

These are the pics from the 3 different times we went to the beach. The first 2 days were cold but the kids still had fun, nothing stops them. I believe you can view wach picture or watch a slideshow (w/ my subtitles/commentary)

These are just some of the random fun the kids had w/ friends and family
(side note: if there's no subtitles and you want to read them just run the mouse over the picture)

Here are pictures from Kristina and Chris' wedding. It was such a simple yet beautiful wedding. So glad we could go and Alexa could be a part. I only put on pictures of what I thought the photographer didn't put on his slideshow, which the link to that is below also......anyway
CONGRATS Chris and Kristina, love ya both
ps. I must add Alexa had everyone dancing and didn't stop. She was having a blast. While Charlie on the other hand most of the night was being held by her great grandpa and Papa until she fell asleep, then it was my turn.

Last but not least. Anthony and I even escaped the kids for 1 night and went to La Jolla. We walked along the beach and The Cove. It was absolutely beautiful, if you've never been, I suggest going. I wish it was a lil sunnier of a day so we could have watched the sunset like we wanted, but any alone time is nice. After walking around and looking for a restaurant we finally ate at a really nice place, thanks babe for not settling for any restaurant. Here is a glimpse of our wonderful (minus the hills) walk.

So that was our journey hope you didnt get bored w/ pictures. we had a great time, can't wait to go back. Love and miss all you Cali peeps.
