Redemption house

The church has marked off a 10 sq. mile part of Springfield, deciding that we will start working on that part of the city first. Our friends Scott and Anne have bought a multi-family house inside " The Zone" The house needs a lot of fixing and cleaning. They have been working on it daily. And have let us be a part of it. Anthony has been going over there and helping as much as he can. We have agreed that the work that we help out in will go toward our perrcentage of the house. And when it's all fixed up then we will move in and since the house is paid off the rent that we put in will go toward our percentage also. The percentage meaning that when they go to sell the house some time from now, the money and time we have put into the house will be added compared to them and we will get that percentage. The house mainly is so we can be in the area that we want to help through and w/ the church. We ask that all will pray for this area that we can clean it up and many lives will be changed. Also as we work to clean and fix it that we can do it safely and as soon as possible. Thank you. So here are the pictures of the beginning process and more will be added as work is done.

Forest Park

The family took another tour around Spriungfield, Ma. We found this huge park that is really close to our house. On half of it looks like what would be a golf course in Ca. w/ ponds, waterfalls, tails, a couple sites that would be beautiful to get married at. The other side is baseball fields , basketball courts, a rec. center, a playground which is right next to the zoo. It's not that big of a zoo but we still had fun. We go there quite often now. It's nice to just walk around and enjoy the beauty and watching the seaon changing right before your eyes.
