Then quickly I dropped Anthony off at the church, took the girls home to change (cause they were DIRTY) then headed back down to the church mins before it began. There was about 50 or so people and the pastors and friends that spoke were really encouraging. We are in a battle field (as Pastor Robert said) and honestly we know we have A lOT of work and hardship set before us, but our battle field is for Jesus and what else is there really to fight for. Just makes me think of a few verses
2 Tim 4:1-7 vs. 2 preach the word: be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort w/ complete patience.........vs.5 As for you always be sober-minded, enduresuffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfilling your ministry.
Rom 8:35 Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness or danger or swords.
Deut. 33:27 The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy before you and said, Destroy.
and we know we are here for His purpose. I pray at the end I can say (2Tim 4:7) I fought the good fight, finished the race, I have kept the faith.........and He will say 'you have done good my faithful servant' (Matt 25:23).......
So here are some pics of the ordination. Thank you Lord for using and choosing us.......
